Bottled, thanks Bov! Cloudy golden, brief head. Slight spicy nose. Dry with thin, hard body. Some paper, very slight spicy hops. So dry it’s almost dusty. Low bitterness. Eh.

Bottle shared with Deanso. Pale clear golden pour with small white head. Aroma is slight grain, malt and hops. Flavour is fresh, light malty with a sweet finish. Not bad for the style.

11.2oz rubber-stopper corked bottle. Opens with a reassuringly loud pop. Quite a murky, grayed reddish brown. Thin, creamy white head. The aroma isn’t so appealing, some fig-like fruitiness and attic oak. Oops. Shouldve noticed that in fine print this beer was best had by January 2011...its now mid June. Has clearly deteriorated, but still some enjoyable characteristics. Pleasant, clean malt body, light and fluffy on the palate. Would be rated higher fresh, I’m sure.

Muffig-getreidiger Bananenantrunk, ansprechend herb. Insgesamt in Ordnung. 9/9/10/9/12/11

Ausgewogen, vollmundig – rundum gelungen. 8/11/9/9/11/9

Bottle (thanx to Quack-Duck!): Deep amber coloured, medium-sized - quite stable - off-white head; light to moderate toasty nose with a tinge of chocolate and metal; moderate - relatively dry - sweet-bitter flavour; short malty-bitter finish. Unspectacular, quite well made....

(bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck) Clear, dark brown colour with a medium-sized and slightly tanned foamy head. Sweet and slightly a ashy malty aroma with traces of chocolate and a tinge of metal. Sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied with a modest carbonation. Slightly ashy and slim malty taste with a touch of chocolate and herbal hops towards the finish. Not overly demanding. 20.IV.11
