chiara poca schiuma non molto persistente sentori di cereali ed erbacei in bocca risulta però secca peccato per il resto deglia romi che la rendono inbevibile sopratutto quando si scalda

Black color; big head. Nice aroma, roasted malt, hop, very light liquorice and yeast. Medium mouthfeel, quite dry; aggressive roasted malt flavor, too much for my taste; some malt and caramel too. The final is too dry and too bitter. Not bad.

Thanks to Homerwantsbeer for sharing a bottle. The beer pours a clear yellowish gold color with a thin white head that dissipates quickly. Minimal lacing is evident. Light grassy hops, honey and sweet fruit in the nose. Light, clean body with a faint floral character. Sweet malt, fruit and grassy hops flavors. The finish is clean and fruity with a mildly bitter hops aftertaste. Luckily this bottle was kept away from the light and as a result was not bad at all.

Bottled (thanks Bov!). Deep rubyish brown/close to black colour, mediumsized brown creamy head. Aroma is toffee, caramel, slightly roasted malts and some spicyness. Flavour is smoked wood, some caramel malts and yeast. A mild, but quite wellbalanced brew.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of Thomas_E. Pours a cloudy, amber golden with tiny impurities. Small, rough, off-white head. Sweetish aroma of overripe fruit and alcohol. Quite full-bodied with a soft mouthfeel and a little low in carbonation. Sweetish, roasted malt accents and some overripe fruit. The finish is alcoholic with some bitternes. Nowhere close to being an Imperial Stout, as the back label claims. And actually closer to a Samichlaus-style Doppelbock than a Baltic Borter. But still quite an enjoyable beer. 281107
