Bottle picked up in Waitrose, Witney, 10th July 2006 . Very pale yellow, bit too sweet and usual lagery taste, not quite the reaction the makers would have hoped for I expect. A5 A3 A5 P2 Ov9 2.4 Had this again at Browns, Windsor, Berkshire 08-08-09 on leg seven of the Thames Tipple Pours straw-lemony colour with a few stray bubbles around rim. Soft in the mouth, clean tasting but a touch metallic, bit dry its just ok A5 A3 F5 P2 Ov9 2.4

33cl bottle from Waitrose. For a pale gold premium lager, this was good. OK it won’t set the world alight, but then again it didn’t make me want to throw up either. Lemoney citrus with a bit of yeast and then creamy in mouth with nice lemon curd finish with a bit of metallic hop bite on the end. I thought that it was fun.

Flasche: billig Krone: arm Geruch: plörrig Herrvorragende Testbedingungen. Test vom 22.5.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 1,6,8,5,2,7 - 5,85

Bottle: Poured a very pale yellow color beer with a standard white foamy head with minimal retention. Aroma is totally skunked which is not a surprise considering they still insist on importing green bottle over the pond. Taste is also dominated by the skunked aroma. Body is totally watery and incredibly thin. More bad then boring.

8.5 oz bottle at Fresh Starts, Flossmoor (across from Flossmoor Station). Dated "08:05." I couldn’t help but find myself liking this. It was poured in a small, narrow Lindemand glass, presenting a slightly ruddy lager color and a thin head leaving rings behind. Taste is of the expected light lager, without the corn other rathers have mentioned. Slightly fruity background, perhaps of cherry, then a definite Euro-hop component, ending with a slgiht champage flourish.

(bottle) Clear golden colour with a short frothy white head. Dense sweet malty nose with alcohol. Sweet flavour, medium body and carbonation. Sweet malty taste and a strong alcoholic note from the start to the aftertaste. The moderate body and the strong alcoholic volume don’t fit together here. Not really bad, but only fairly drinkable.

500ml can: Poured a semi-dark yellow color beer with large white foamy head with minimal retention. Carbonation seems quite low and the beer has a strong grainy aroma, which I didn’t enjoy. Taste is also way too grainy for my taste and this beer resemble more of a malt liquor then a European strong lager. Alcohol is not well hidden which doesn’t really matter since this beer ended up being poured in the drain.

500 mL can shared with tiggmtl and Muzzlehatch on 11/6/05. Pours an amber-gold, with some strong cherry-orange tints, plenty of carbonation and a fluffy, surprisingly dense, off-white head, moderate retention, no lacing. Aroma of bubble gum, cotton candy, plenty of fruit esters, fusels and just a touch of grape jolly ranchers. Flavor begins with more light fruit esters, white table sugar-like notes and a dryish alcohol, not nearly as fusel-like as your standard American malt liquor. Cotton candy and just a touch of toasted grains. Begins quite sweet, but as it warms, the flavor intensifies and the texture congeals. Cloying and syrupy it becomes, with pesky carbonation, though I’ve had much sharper. Dry grape flavored medicine I keep getting and finally some dry notes of metal and alcohol. No hops to be had, this is definitely malt liquor, not a ESL. Rating based on malt liquor style.
