Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a black color with a large foamy brown head that lingered and left some lacing. The aroma was dry, roasty coffee. The flavor was bitter and toasty with notes of coffee, cocoa and malted milk and a faint floral hop undertone. The finish was medium length roasty malted milk. Fairly full bodied. Not sweet enough for a foreign stout in my view. Nice.
