Sampled on draft at the RIvertowne Pub this beer poured an orange-amber color with a small khaki head. The aroma was lightly sweet and spicy. The flavor was lightly sweet and malty with elements of nutmeg and cinnamon. Mildly bitter and a bit thin in body.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a murky bronze-brown with a large creamy khaki head. The aroma was moderately sweet and fruity hops. The flavor was bitter, tangy and malty with an intense floral and fruity presence that was a bit harsh. The finish was long, bitter and dry.

Clean aroma and ubiquitous pale yellow american lager color. Barely any carbonation on the palate. Has a pilsner bite to it it is well controlled. Finish leaves that lingering pilsner bite building on the back of the palate.

I am very curious if the bartender got this mixed up with Rivertowne’s Pomegranate. It has the same effect and flavors and I know it was also on tap at the time I tasted this. Somewhat lighter than the ubiquitous pale yellow american lager. Clean and friendly aroma. Fruity taste, pretty tart. Very nice, not bitter what so ever. Very friendly and enjoyable. A well made fruit beer.I relly like this if it is apricot beer because I don’t really taste any apricot in there. Much more fruity and sweet compared to most fruit beers. Finish is fine and rather nice! No bitterness detectable at all. I still think they got this mixed up with the Pomegranate.

Clear and orangish red in color. Creamy off white head. Has a floral hop perfumy olfactory. Taste is less than an IPA but surely hoppy. I have tasted a few IPA that were less hoppy than this. Barely any carbonation. Bitter hop notes remain on the palate after the session. Typical hoppy APA style.

Slightly perfumy aroma. Cloudy and darker than the typical pale yellow lager. Has a brownish red hue to it. Barely any head. Expected more bitterness on the taste buds for some reason. Rather mild and enjoyable for a lager lover. Well mannered and friendly. One of the better Irish reds I’ve tasted. Finish is non assuming and pleasant. Easy to like. Barely any carbonation.

Pleasant clean mildly sweet aroma. Reddish orange clear appearance. No head. Very well behaved lager. Barely any carbonation. No offense what so ever to the taste buds, this is a well made lager. Friendly and easy to get along with. Great lager, no bitterness on the finish.

Ubiquitous pale yellow american lager color and it must be filtered, there is no haze in this one. Froth for a head. Aroma is sour hay and fresh cut sour grass. Delicious taste, absolutely no bitter bite in this brew. Very nice. The taste has some of that sour grass in it too. There is also something familiar and special about the taste yet undefinable. Very nifty beer, I’m impressed with this batch! One of my favorite Rivertowne brews. Finish is pleasant and friendly and it has just the right amount of carbonation for the style.

Ubiquitous pale yellow american lager color and a creamy head. Tart vinegary yeasty aroma. Barely any carbonation. Slight tartness caries over to the taste buds. No bitterness to speak of at first. Friendly and easy to get along with. Very slight mild bitterness impression on the finish.

Ignore my numbers if you are a barley wine lover. Just slightly darker that the ubiquitous pale yellow lager. Sweet powerful aroma. You know this is gonna deliver a taste bud kick. No head. Alky is well hidden in the initial taste. Bitter alky flavors begin to rise but it never gets over the top. has an interesting fruit back drop. Finish is medium length and alky bitterness. Much better than most barlywines. Almost acceptable for a style I don’t care much for.
