Please, don’t mind my numbers on this one. I rate by how much I enjoy it and this was probably one of the most offensive beers I have tasted! This beer will match up with any impy stout in the top 25. I am serious, bitter complex concoction like you have ever tasted. I’m getting growlers of this and sending it to anybody who likes oak aged Yeti or Expedition. Sweetish candy aroma, big and black appearance, like 100,000 mile used engine oil. Head like chocolate mousse. Barely any carbonation and I swear I saw an oily coffee bean slick on top. This stuff coats your mouth like a good bourbon whiskey, WOW! Killer brew, way to much for my girlie taste buds but I saw this chick across from me say how good it tasted and purred right afterwards. I can’t stop puckering. If you like that big black stuff in the top 25, better seek this out, IMHO it is a killer. It’s a wonder that stuff like this is still classified as a beer.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured an orange-bronze color with a small tan head. The aroma was fairly strong grapefruity and piney hops. The flavor was crisp floral and fruity hops. Grapefruity hops linger on the palate. The body was was moderately thick and rather nice.

Sampled on draft a the brewery this beer poured a cloudy pale golden color with a small white head. The aroma was spicy, fruity and sweet. The flavor was very spicy, lemony and wheaty. The coriander spiciness really lingers on the palate. This is probably the spiciest Belgian Wit I have ever encountered - in a good way. The beer was rather robust and flavorful.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a pale golden color with a small white head. The aroma was lightly tangy and yeasty. The flavor was tangy, sweet and yeasty with a dryish malt finish. I am not a big fan of Blond Ales in general but I had to give this one bonus points for being spot on for style. The most true rendition of the style I have seen from an American brewer.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a bright red-orange with a small pinkish head. The aroma was sweet and tart berry. The flavor was sweet, tangy and tart berry with a light undertone of " real beer" that was not overwhelmed by the fruit. The raspberry was crisp and identifiable. I was rather impressed with this one.
