Aroma is apricot and peach skins with fruit juice. Pours with a foggy yellow body and thin head. Flavour is roses, perfume, all rather fake, like smelling a febreeze spray or something. Wet finish. Average for its style, and probably awful for those who don’t like the fruit-skin beer flavoured types.

Aroma is muddy malts and cereals. Pours foggy yellow, with a soft carbonation and weak head. flavour is a weird flower, perfume mixed with malts. Has an alcohol finish. I wanted to like this one, I really did, but it just didn’t work for me.

Smallish and light head, yellow-white body. Aroma of not much - wheat and water, maybe? Taste is like a Christmas cake, there are plenty of sweet spices in play here and it’s very un-witbier-like. Watery finish. Odd and confusing.

Foggy bright brown colour, modest amount of head. Aroma of malt and cereal. Taste is a lot of barley with some spice in there, kind of wet finish. Drinkable, all right.

Small coarseish tan head. Deep brownish red body with light carbonation. Spicy bready caramelly aroma with dusty honey notes. Dry-sweet papery herbal caramelly taste with earthy mealy notes. Light body. Mild mouthfeel. Dryish mealy caramel aftertaste with earthy buttery and light fruit/banana notes. Decent, but a bit light and boring. Besides, what’s a brune with 4.8% alcohol, anyway? Not a gusher, but 99% head when poured initially. Settles slowly. Hazy amber body with powerful carbonation. Yeasty spicy caramel aroma. Dry spicy yeasty earthy caramel taste with buttery strawberry notes. Light body. Fizzy mouthfeel. Dry yeasty herbal mealy aftertaste with fades out quickly leaving buttery mealy feeling. Medium tan head. Deep dark brown body. Mealy burnt coffee aroma. Dry-sweet burnt coffee taste with earthy resiny notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, dusty mouthfeel. Dry fruity burnt earthy aftertaste with wooden mealy bready notes. Light chocolate, too. Nice, inoffensive, drinkable. A bit underweight for a stout, and surprisingly sweet.
