Bottle at Chris_o Pre GBBF Shindig 08. This gets extra points for being called Prickmeister, which in English is very, very funny in a schoolboy sort of way. It’s a classic gold colour with a thin white head. It’s ok, an ok lager. Bit tinny and metallic on the carbonation especially. Not great, but hey the name......

Bottled (BB 01/2009)
Dark ruby color, good, but quickyly collapsing creamy tan head. Ashy-roasted aroma with hints of licorice and wet socks. Starts a bit crisp, but then again quickly (like in their two other beers), kind of flat. Burned malty flavor, some caramelly sweetness and chocolate. Roasty-bitter aftertaste. Standard, but tasty Schwarzbier and easily their best beer of first three.

Bottled (BB 01/2009)
Clear amber color, small, mostly vanishing off-white head, lots of CO2 bubbes. Apple aroma, cidery, some rye bread too. Sort of flat mouthfeel. Similar rye bready sweetish wort flavor than in their pilsener. Decent bitterness in the finish. Unfortunately body refers to 4.2% ABV and is quite watery, could be more in balance. I am not an expert of brewing, but this one has same feeling than their pilsener that brewing process has been a bit too fast.
