33cl bottle from Alko. Poured pretty much black in color. Thin off white head. Roastedness, bready malts and hint of tobacco. Faily sweet and malty with backing roastedness, again slight tobacco notes. OK.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 07/2021, from Alko, 20200208) The beer poured black. Its head was medium sized and nearly white. Aroma had burnt malts, hints of liquorice and small amounts of smoke. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, ash, lightly smoke, some liquorice and medium bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and ashy. A bit disappointing burnt brew with strong ashy notes.

Bottle 0.33l at home, Nivala. Colour is slightly cloudy orange with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Some fruits, some grain, some honeyish sweetness and malts. Malty and little bit of flat. Cant find straw.

Dark brown colour, small beige head. Toasted malts, smoke and cocoa in the nose. Light-bodied. Toasted malts, ash, some smokeyness in the flavour. Decent smokeyness but quite dry and even watery. Tolerable.

Tap @ Pikkulintu Ruttopuisto, Helsinki. The beer poured deep amber in color with a thin white head. Quite malty and bready even at first in aroma with pine, hops and fair amount of bitterness. Bit heavy.
