“Alter Dessauer Zwickel dunkel“, vom Faß auf der Grünen Woche, Berlin. - Kupferrotbraun, leicht trüb. - Karamelmalzig-nussig und nicht zu knapp krautig hopfenherb. Dunkle Frucht mit merklicher aber noch nicht störender Säure. Etwas limonadig dünn, trotz Hefe. Im Abgang recht kräftige aber etwas undifferenzierte fruchtige Hopfenherbe. - Simples aber trinkbares Zwickel.

1st Aug 2018, on-tap at the brewhaus. Lovely looking beer, bright amber, clear and clean; white crown with lacing on the glass. Not too sure what's summery about it but I liked the malty sweetness and the mild hop content, my sort of Pilsner/Lager.

1st Aug 2018, draft at the brewpub. White lasting head on a misty yellow/golden body. Bit of yeastiness in the floral hop aroma mixed in with some grainy esters. The taste malts first with a light hop butterness late on. Decent.

Visited the brewpub for lunch on 1st Aug 2018, this is one of the four beers they had on tap that day; shared with the wife because I was driving. Slight haze to the brass coloured body, red hue in the sunlight (we sat in the biergarten), creamy texture to the smooth off-white head. More malty than hoppy with a roasted, almost singed/soarched bitterness to counter the obvious malty sweetness. Liked it.
