Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö, Norra Vallgatan, hand-pulled
Muddy orange-amber color with compact head. The aroma contains fruits, yeast and chemicals. Full bodied, with malt flavor, moderate sweetness, full of chemicals, very yeasty. It’s a fermentation mess.
Unsellable.
They have the guts to ask 78kr for half pint of this!

Black color with generous brownish creamy head. Very nice aroma of roasted malts and quality coffee; and hops; the alcohol doesn’t disturb either. Smooth mouthfeel, with a good structure; the evident roasted malt structure is blending with good chocolate; the general feeling is quite roasty and dry; good hopping, both for the strength and for the contribution of resins. The final is good, not just the roasted malt in it, but also the claw of the hops.
Very good and smooth modern example.

Bottle. It’s a more or less black one, hardly any brown color at all. The head is quite small, beige in color. It’s quite burnt on the nose, with licorice notes and some dried fruits. Roasted malts, burnt hints, licorice and dried fruits, with a roasted kind of bitterness. Full body, semi-sweet, and with a pleasant carbonation. A pleasant one indeed, although a bit one tracked. 130215
