pitch dark, small light brown head. mild aroma, mild roasted malts. flavor is roasted malts, bitter sweet malty flavor, sort of woody bitterness, simple porter on stereoids.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of anders37. Pours an opaque pitch black with a small light brown head. Thick, greasy roasty nose with some licorice. Thick and solid body, heavy burned roast, coffee notes with the carbonation being a little downplayed. Roasty malty bitterness, yet sweet. Heavy duty stuff - and very enjoyable. 210113

Draft @ På Besök, Malmö. Pours a dark brown almost black color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity piney hoppy licorice aroma. Slightly roasted malty piney hoppy bitter licorice flavor. Has a roasted malty hoppy piney bitter licorice finish.

Bottle. Pours a Black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate and coffee aroma with weak hints of vanilla. Roasted malty chocolate, licorice and coffee flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate coffee and licorice finish with some bitterness.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 29 Sep 2012) Amber colour with brief, beige head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, blood orange, orange peel, grapefruit and caramel. Fruity, hoppy taste with caramel, treacle-toffee, orange peel, grapefruit and a generous citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Very promising start from this brewer. Nice one.

Draught @ På besök. Pours dark orange. Notes of grapes, grapefruit, elderflowers and burned caramel. Distinct, clean, almost medicinal bitterness. Medium bodied. Semi dry.

Bottled@SBWF2012. Deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, caramelly and toffeeish along with nice citrus and some floral notes. Flavour is caramel, crystal crisp maltyness along with some grassy, floral and fruity notes. Pleasant and refreshing.

Bottle at Stockholm Beer and Whiskey Festival 2012. Clear amber liquid with medium off-white head. Aroma of red berries, citrus, gooseberries, grain, cat piss and Nelson Sauvin hops. Taste is dry and light to medium bitter with notes of citrus, lemon peel and biscuit. Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. Nicely soft carbonation. Quite average APA.

Pours light orange with a foamy head. Fruity and hoppy aroma with notes of caramely malts. Taste is hoppy and quite fruity with hints of caramely malts. Finish is sweetish and hoppy with notes of citrus and caramel. Okay, quite sweetish pale ale.
