16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but is a recent release. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden amber/light orange color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lightly tart/tangy peaches, apricots, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, pear, melon, red/green apple, white wine, peppercorn, clove, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, cracker, spicy rye, white bread, light leathery/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, fruit, and moderate pale/rye malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lightly tart/tangy peaches, apricots, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, pear, melon, red/green apple, white wine, peppercorn, clove, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, cracker, spicy rye, white bread, light leathery/musty funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate peppery yeast/rye spiciness, herbal/floral/grassy bitterness; and light fruit/Brett tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart peaches, apricots, fruit skin, lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, pear, melon, red/green apple, white wine, peppercorn, clove, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, cracker, spicy rye, white bread, light leathery/musty funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, fruit, and moderate pale/rye malt flavors; with a nice malt/bitter/spiciness balance. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, fairly crisp, and lightly acidic/tangy balanced mouthfeel that is good. A bit of rough astringency, but not overwhelming. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5%. Overall this is a very nice fruited session saison. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/funky/spicy yeast, fruit, and moderate pale/rye malt flavors; smooth, easy, and fairly crisp to drink; despite the increasingly rough bitter/spicy/drying finish. Flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Well balanced fruit, funky Brett/saison yeast, and earthy hops; with a solid pale/rye malt backbone. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example as expected. Prefer the base table beer a lot more.

Pour is a hazy orange with a huge foamy white head. Aroma is a spicy and piney hop. This is old school all the way. Flavor is a bitter pine hops. A bit more malt shows up but nothing sweet or heavy. Decent throwback IPA. This brewer really needs to start dating their cans. With some age on this it will turn super malty real fast.
