Tap at Gambrinus Central State tap-takeover. Pours a pitch black with a small bit of beige head that lingers. Lots of cacao nib in the nose with some faint coffee. Dryish palate but light body. Smooth and easy drinking. Alcohol hidden fairly well. Kinda dangerous. Well-executed.

Draft. Weedy hay and caramel malt aroma. Amber with minimal head. Moderately sweet candi sugar, caramel malt, and moderately bitter herbal hay flavor. Light alcoholic finish. A bit boozy but not nearly as much as I expected.

Can from Gambrinus. Pours a hazy rose petal pink with 2 fingers of champagne-like foam that lingers for a bit. Tart nose with some umeboshi and raspberry aromas. Plum, gooseberry and some lactic character on the palate. Finishes with lime. Lives up to the hype! --- Beer merged from original tick of Lazer Raptor on 26 Feb 2017 at 16:23 - Score: 8. Tap at Gambrinus. Pours black with a finger of foam that lingers. Tons of oak and ash, bit of smoke and brett. Bone dry on the palate with smoked wood, ash and a touch of chalk. Yeast and brett (I assume) add alot of perceived dryness here. Roasty, smokey flavors with a bit of a lingering charred finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Gute Nacht on 24 Jan 2017 at 19:06 - Score: 6. Original review text: Tons of oak and ash, bit of smoke and brett. Bone dry on the palate with smoked wood, ash and a touch of chalk. Dry & yeasty finish. Bonedry

Tap at Gambrinus 7th anniversary. Pours a murky, ovaltine colored tan with a finger of off-white foam. Tart cherry on the nose with some light hay, mildly reminiscent of Orval. Thin-bodied with lowish carbonation. Brett character with some vinous notes. Finish is quick without much lingering flavor. --- Beer merged from original tick of Sunk Costs on 23 Dec 2016 at 10:10 - Score: 5

Can shared. Thanks Ryan! Pours a clear gold with a huge head that lingers. Lemon, malt and mineral, earthy notes. Clean and crisp on the palate. Very dry. Pretty simple, and pretty sure this is the new name for Central State’s Table beer.
