Description
WV’s premiere location for fresh, inventive, & delicious craft beer. We strive to make every WGB offering an experience and every visit a memory!
While trying to come up with a name for the brewery, we started to think about our journey… the places we’ve lived, our dearest friends, the ups and downs we’ve endured and how those moments have shaped us, and how we wanted those experiences to influence the brewery and our work there. We thought about future nights with new friends at the brewery and working days in the garden.
Along with brewing and serving craft beer, we want to use this land to create memories for everyone. In a sense, we feel that our lives are weathered, shaped, and molded by experiences, as well as our relationships.
We feel this property too is weathered by the people and nature that passes by. Weathered Ground Brewery was born from these ideas. While we will brew many styles of beer, our general theme will be Farmhouse style beers.
Many of these Farmhouse Ales will incorporate local agriculture into the beer whether it grows here naturally, in our garden, or on another local farm. We enjoy brewing and drinking these libations, and we cannot wait to share that passion with southern West Virginia.

Refrigerated poured by can poured into a glass. Orange with big white head. Aroma is plum, medium body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is plum and some apricot. Subtle, easier to drink, not chalky like some of the others in the series, and still quite nice.

Definitely a fair amount of coffee here. Probably the only coffee IPA I've had where the coffee doesn't kill the rest of the beer. Golden pour with decent head. Bitter finish. Plenty of citrus here, like you're hanging out at a Dupont Circle Latin club. Tap at Apothecary.

Light lime and a hint of dish detergent - infected beer. The golden beer is pretty murky, which is a pretty big warning sign. Light bitter finish with some cloying tang. Tap at Iron Horse.
