330ml bottle. Cloudy, chestnut colour with average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Toasty, minimally nutty, dark malty, herbal and spicy, minimally fishy and mineral aroma, hints of seashell, earthy herbs, seaweed, nutmeg, a touch of ginger, cinnamon, caramel malty undertones. Taste is toasty, minimally nutty, dark malty, slightly herbal, spicy and mineral, hints of seashells, earthy herbs, seaweed, a touch of ginger, nutmeg, some caramel in the background. Creamy texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine, dense, soft, creamy carbonation. Sadly not the most felicitous use of spices here: produces a rather mineral, even fishy effect, not sure if due to the composition and/or quality of adjuncts - bummer!

Flesje gedeeld door Inoven. Het is een goudgeel licht troebel bier met een volle witte schuimkraag welke snel wegtrekt. Het aroma is hoppig en licht fruitig de smaak is licht bitter. De smaak blijft wel hangen.

Flesje gedeeld met Tomhendriksen. Goudgeel licht troebel bier met matig schuim dat snel wegtrekt. Aroma is hoppig en licht fruitig. Smaak is licht bitter. De bittere smaak blijft wel hangen.

One of the quadrupels I got from Smaakhuis late this spring. The 33 cl bottle is open and I tilt it inside of a globe glass. The appearance is a lightish cola colored liquid with a minimal ring of silver-tan foam. I get a scent of grain, ripe fruit and yeast. A drink finally. Dates, candi sugar, fresh wheat bread, malt, yeast, a hint of chocolate and raisins. Sweet and slightly bitter. A decent quad, nothing to complain about, I would certainly drink again if offered one.

33cl bottle from Quali Drinks in Mechelen. F: medium, white, average retention. C: deep gold, hazy. A: malty, bit banana, apples, honey, caramel, mineral. T: full malty base, banana, apples, caramel, honey, spicy touch, bit weak bitterness, medium carbonation, more on the sweet side all together, ok with rooibos so may be that’s why more sweet, partially enjoyed.

Wheaty malty, citrusy fruity and slightly spicy aroma, hints of orange peel, some lemongrass, a peppery, yeasty spicy touch as well. Taste is sweet-ish, wheaty malty, zesty, citrusy fruity and slightly yeasty spicy, hints of orange peel, some zesty bitterness, some hop bitterness, a peppery spicy yeasty touch, some clove. Minimally oily, watery texture, slightly dry palate, medium, cattered, prickly carbonation. Not the most refreshing Wit, relatively yeasty spicy - OK.
