Clear blond colour, white foam. Grainy, malty, light sweet, easy drinkable, not the best balanced lager.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines Sheffield. Birthday gift from the missus. Crystal clear pale gold. Thin but lasting white foam. Nose has floral hop. Bready malt. Some sourness. Taste is moderately sweet with a slightly spicy bitterness. Clean and crisp. Foamy carbonation. Dries out somewhat on the finish. Does what a Helles does.

€-Fläschla: Literally black, presumably hazy, big - stable and creamy - tanned head, moderate to distinctive sweet-bitter aroma of roasted/toasted malt with a robust fruity (dried berries) backbone; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, very light acidity, medium bodied, creamy MF; slightly drier roasty-fruity finish with a mildly increasing acidity in the aftertaste. Překvapení! A pretty well made Stout from Franconia...

Bottle with swing top. Brown pour with a medium sized foamy head that has decent retention. The aroma is roasted malts and a bit of caramel. The taste had a mineral aspect that was the first thing I noticed followed by roasted grains and some toffee. The palate was thinner than I prefer and the carbonation soft. Overall: meh. Paired this with some aged gouda and the cheese overpowered the drink.

Bottle from Base Camp. Misty amber body with a lasting, thick off-white head. Sweetish caramel malty base in the aroma with a huge banana ester presence. Caramel drives the taste, banana esters show up as well, very sweet. More caramel in the taste than in the aroma. Dry herbal notes, off yeasty, meaty touches. Just okay overall.

0.5 l bottle from 'Craftbeershop.com', best before January 2023. Hazy, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish aroma of grains, some wort and a touch of honey. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter taste of grains, honey and some wort, followed by a short, gently bitter, watery-dry finish. Thin to medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Solid.
