Bottle. Clear golden, fine carbonation, white lace. Ripe grain and grassy hop aroma. Medium full chewy malt body, actually quite intense without getting too heavy at any point, grassy, light citric and herbal hops to balance. Tingles on the palate on the way out. Very good Helles.

500ml bottle. Opalescent, orangey, golden colour with average to huge, thick, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly grainy, minimally starchy, sweet-ish, pale malty aroma, a cautious touch of peated malt. Taste is sweet-ish, minimally dry, pale malty, minimally starchy, slightly background-ish hints of peated malt, a cautious fruity touch of pear, mirabelle, mellow hints of smoked wood; slowly increasing (and maybe accumulating) influence of the peaty partition. Slightly oily, watery texture, rather indifferent palate, medium, mildly prickly carbonation. Kind of a late bloomer; almost a light Bock with an unobtrusive peaty touch in subtle development - not bad.

Brown with a creamy, off-white crown that lingers. Aroma of roasted grains, toffee, berries. Taste is dominated by the malts with a chocolate bittersweetness holding the upper hand until the finish, which has a mild, roasted grain bitterness. Medium bodied, mild carbonation. Tasty stuff. Goes well with peanuts.

€-Fläschla: Copper coloured, hazy, small, but persistent off-white foamy layer, moderate sweet-bitter, almost a bit dryish malty and toasty nose with a earthy-hoppy backbone; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied, both fizzy and soft; slightly lingering drier herbal hoppy and (dark) malty finish. A Bier of decent franconian quality...

Bottle online from 'The Trembling Madness'. Pours a hazy orange colour with a large thick creamy off-white head. Aromas of grains, hay, grass, straw, toasty bread and hints of honey. Taste has more of the same notes from the aroma. Medium body with a smooth grainy mouthfeel. Fresh and full of flavour. Excellent Keller Beer.

Bottle online from 'The Trembling Madness'. Pours a clear light golden colour with a large thick throthy white head. Aromas of grains, hay, grass, straw and a hint of lemon. Taste is the same notes as the aroma. Crisp and fresh. Thinnish body, average carbonation, oily mouthfeel and a light grassy hop finish. Average Pilsner but nice enough.
