8/11/11/11/10/11

50cl bottle at Brauhaus. Pours a light but cloudy yellow, lots of bubbles and a large head. The nose is of the typical banana and spice, maybe clove or cinnamon. The taste is much creamier than the nose - some banana, some full fat cream and a little bit of tanginess on the end. The palate is rich in structure, creamy in texture and clean on the finish. Overall a very enjoyable beer.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Golden, lacy white head, shy bisquity-woody nose with a faint papery touch; moderate to solid dryish bitter-sweet flavour, almost medium bodied; slightly lingering, quite solid, citrussy-hoppy finish with a grainy base. O.K. , but only average by Göller standards.........

swing top bottle 500ml. -from Sörspecialista.hu, Budapest.
Hazy orange/golden coloured, medium sized white head, slight acidic banana nose. Moderate malty, yeasty and banana with mild caramel and fruity notes. Interesting coffee bite in rather fruity finish but except that nothing special here.

Flip-top bottle 500ml (Kahdet Kasvot, BB 10/2011)
Clear golden color, small white head. Grassy burnt cardboard aroma - typical German märzen. Suprisingly light body for 5.5%. Light maltyness, a bit grainy with light hops, lingering bitterness. Easy drink but wellmade.

(swing top bottle) Clear, golden colour with a dense and medium-sized foamy white head. Slightly grainy and draffy malty aroma with a shy herbal hoppy touch. Mildly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dry malt-character with herbal hoppy spice; bitter and slightly sweet finish with rounded grainy and herbal accents. Not particularly exciting but still a decent and easy-going Märzen. 29.III.11
