Very clear, sparkling gold, with good carbonation to fluffy snow-white head, quickly receding. Raw mushrooms and vanilla, sweet pale malts, grainlofts and earthy, herbal aromas. Very nice. Rather bitterish initial taste, lightly hoppy, going over in quite grassy malts taste. Very light in alcohol and in density, but fine-hopped to good measure. I can indeed understand this is the ideal apéritif to a bread-meal, Brotzeit . Ends really warm grainy. MF is as said, very light, but beer is generally dry. Very nice beer, outstanding in its kind. Göller is brewing on commission for several regional breweries - one can easily see why. Excellent quality all around.

Orange-gold, clean, lightest Rauch I’ve ever seen; with very fine-bubbled, stable off-white head. Imperial smoked ham. Unbelievable - doesn’t yield anything to Schlenkerla in the nose, extremely clean at the same time. Malty and smoked taste, pure beechwood smoke, like an open campfire, or the new potatoes out of its smoldering ashes - and a bit of Schinken, selbstverständlich . Great! Rather light bodied. Aftertaste gives a mineral combination of bitter and salt, before yielding sweetness, dessert-wine like! Very original Rauchbier, paler and lighter than any sofar. But the taste doesn’t bow to any.

Orange beer, slighty cloudy with irregular off-white head, creamy. Slightly sourish (sour dough) nose with a marked grainy character and some coloured malt. Quite toasted character, bit of oxidation (not past its BBd). Again sourish German bread. In the finish, more sweetness, malty. Medium bodied, nowhere empty, even slight slickness. Very decent, if somewhat oxydated Kellerbier.

Eigentlich ganz nett... Bottle: Amber coloured, hazy, big fluffy off-white-head, lasting longer; shy fruity nose (honey) with a tinge of caramel; sweetish beginning, malty flavour with some traces of raisins and honey, well rounded, but some alcohol in the backyard; longer dry bitter-malty aftertaste. Not really great, but better than many other Bocks.

Bottle. Spicy (clove/pepper) and fruity banana/berry aroma. Tan color cloudy with slight head. Subdued flavor - sweet wheat malt flavor slight clove finish but fruit aromas don’t really come out in the flavor - rather bland.
