Bottle from Teddybeer, many thanks.Orange golden color with medium white head. Oranges, honey, some spices in aroma. Taste, grapefruit, lemon, honey, floral hops in finish. Pleasant beer.

Bottle from Hipercor Burgos. Dark brown colour, thin light brown head. Nose is strong malty, caramel, brown sugar, bit of chocolate, some fruits. Flavour is malty, caramel, caramelized sugar, slight roastiness, some fruits. Medium carbonation. Decent enough.

33cl bottle at El Estribo. Pours dark brown to black with an off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt with smoke, coffee and chocolate. Alcohol is well integrated and hardly noticable. Sweet and roasty with a nice smoky and lightly bitter finish. Decent barley wine! (2012-08-15)

33 cl bottle @ vPBF, BBE 12/2012
Aroma is somewhat sweet with honey and some grainy malt. Flavour has grainy malt, some hay and hints of citron. Palate is slightly too high on CO2. Feels a bit like a kellerbier. Good.

Clear golden color, small white head. Malty, grainy, a bit fruity aroma. Light-bodied. Sweet, corn, some apple flavor. Light vegetably and herbal note.

Bottled@vPBF2012. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is bready, floral, some herbal and mild grainy notes. Flavour is fruity, caramelly, bready and a bit tropical fruity notes.

Pours dark brown with a foamy white head. Aroma of some roasty malts, hints of spices. Taste is quite light with some hints of dry roastiness. Finish has notes of malts and earthy notes. Unbalanced, quite light bodied.

Aroma is somewhat sweet with peaches, some biscuits, caramel and resin. Flavour has resin, some caramel, grainy malt and some nettles. Palate has some stinging CO2. Better than I expected.

Clear amber color, small white head. Caramel, grassy aroma, vegetably notes. Light to medium bodied. Caramel, vegetables and cardboard in the flavor. Not very impressive.

Bottled@vPBF2012 (thanks teddybeer). Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, toffee, some herbs, mild bready notes. Flavour is fruity, wooden, resiny and mild bitterness.
