The name Cervecería Centro Americana, S.A. Is part of the Guatemalan imagination since its founding in 1886, when brothers Mariano and Rafael Castillo Cordova materialized their dream.
Throughout its trajectory, the company has experienced two world wars and a great economic depression. Locally, a plague of influenza, two devastating earthquakes, an internal armed conflict of thirty-six years and an effervescent political life. All these vicissitudes have been confronted with hard work and confidence in Guatemala, which makes evident the will to believe, to bet on modernity and its constant renewal.
In addition, there has always been the continuous search for more efficient technology and a constant training of operators, with the faith of a better future for all. That is why day by day we live our motto: we believe, trust and invest in Guatemala.

Pour is another super clear pale gold with a large white head. Aroma is grain malt a little oxidized wet paper bag. Flavor is pretty much nothing. Thin and watery.

Bottle. Amber is color with a two finger head. Aroma is malty grains. Taste is slightly sweet with a nice balanced finish. Better then I thought it would be.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Clear pale yellow, small head. Cidery nose. Sweetish with light to thin body and clean mouthfeel. Sourish thin grainy malt. Slightly metallic finish.

Bottle 0,35 ltr: Clear dark amber colored with an more sweet taste than bitter one. Hints of caramel mostly and some roasted malts. Bring from me by mine bro in law and sister from their trip to Guatemala. Also new country tick. But Pale Lager it's an classic Bock from the old days.
