In 2017 ben ik, Jelle Veneman, begonnen met het brouwen van bier. Het begon allemaal met de potten en pannen van oma in de keuken. Vervolgens "verhuisde" ik naar het tanklokaal van onze voormalige boerderij en had hier mijn eigen brouwketeltjes. Nog steeds ontwikkel ik hier de recepten die later gebrouwen worden in een professionele brouwerij.

Op dit moment (2025) is dat Wentersch.

Goudgeel bier met vlokken en een mooie witte schuimkraag.
Aroma is moutig.
Smaak is fruitig en licht hoppig.
Nasmaak is zacht bitter.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, amber colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, pale and caramel malty as well as slightly (citrusy) fruity, hoppy aroma, hints of red berries, raisin and lemon tea. Taste is moderately hoppy, citrusy fruity hoppy, caramel and pale malty basis with subtle residual sweetness, hints of lemon, orange, grapefruit, a grassy touch, some dried fruit, raisin. Dissolved sugar enriched, watery texture, smooth and slightly dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Cautious nose, pretty hoppy in taste - not bad.
