50 cL bottle, thanks to thewolf, batch 001. Pours dark brown to black with a lacing tan head. Light butterish and mild roasted aroma. Flavour is hardroasted malt. Lacks more sweetness but gains a lot dryness instead. Light bitterness into the finish. Gains some acidity into the finish. Subdued chocolate smoothness.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a lacing white head. Mild choco powder aroma. Flavour is smooth wheat with a light chocolate powder-ish flavour. Light bitterness and spice flavour into the finish. Wheat beers are in general a no match for me, hiding it under chocolate doesn’t really help on the style as such. Nice to try.

50 cL bottle, thanks to thewolf. Pours hazy orange with a fully diminished white head. Light spiced and mild woody aroma. Mild spice flavour and a light woody note. Light sweetness and a light acidity into the finish. Gets a bit more smooth from the oak, but doesnt really gain anything else from this.

33 cL bottle, thanks to thewolf. Pours hazy orange with a lacing white head. Peppery spiced aroma. Flavour is yeasty and spiced, mild malt base. Sweet. Light herbal finish. A bit too strangely spiced for my liking. I normally like saisons but this isn’t a match for my tastebuds.

Unclear dark amber, with a small off-white head, much smaller than the un-barrelled version. Mellow herbs and spices, some tannin and a touch of (not unpleasant) acetone. Semi sweet, spiced flavour with some tannin. Finishes with a lingering fresh oakwood.

Unclear amber with a perfectly creamy, lasting pillow of head. First aroma impression is herbal, (possibly thyme and heather?), followed by spices and pepper. Quite sweet, very spiced flavour. Herbs, ginger and a finishing pepper. Velvet mouthfeel.
