Pours a borderline murky dark amber than leans into brown. Medium to big sized head, the slightest off-white, pretty compact and persistent, good enough lacing. Average intensity in the aroma, with dominant caramel, perhaps a bit of sugary sweetness, hints of honey, a timid background of citricness and herbal/grassy notes. So-so definition. Taste follows the aroma pretty closely: again, average taste intensity, so-so definition. Medium sweetness, lowish bitterness, quite sweet but not too much in the overall balance; the aftertaste leaves a bit of residual sugary sweetness and a hint of earthiness. Doesn't feel too clean on the overall, though it's minor. Light to medium body, average, very soft-bubbled carbonation; pretty good drinkability with just a hint of creaminess. Overall: a sweetish, slightly "imprecise" polotmave. Still very much ok, but i've had much finer examples.

750ml bottle. Opalescent, orange, dark golden colour with average to huge, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Piney, resinous and slightly citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, pale and caramel malty background, notes of pineapple, some lemon, a touch of orange peel, marmalade, yellow stone fruit. Taste is bitter, resinous, piney and slightly citrusy fruity hoppy, pale and caramel malty basis with low residual sweetness and a touch of peanut, hints of woody pineapple, some lemon, grapefruit, grapefruit rind, orange peel, marmalade, weak tartness, very weak yeasty funky overtones; lingering, bitter and minimally mineral finish.
Oily-watery texture, smooth and minimally greasy, simultaneously dry palate, medium to fine, dense, almost creamy, mildly prickly carbonation.
Crisp, bitter, refreshing- nice.

A slightly pale golden with orangeish hints, quite clear. Average sized, quite compact looking white head; shows good enough retention and nice lacing. Average intensity in a nicely deep and well defined aroma that suggest more hoppy than malty character: underlying notes of hay/straw and a hint of caramel, fresh grass, delicate floral hops, quite vivid and nicely fresh citric notes with saaz's classic cedary note. Taste notes follow the aroma, though with more balance as for malty/hoppy notes than the aroma suggested: average intensity, freshness and taste definition still feel very much ok but a bit less bright than in the aroma. Quite light in body, average, soft carbonation; goes down pretty quick; feels overall slightly light for a 12°. Overall impression: a pretty classic bohemian pilsner, nothing stellar but well made, shows some distinction in the drinkability department.
