12 ounce can from Jack's Fresh Mart, 5/27/23. Michigan #990. New brewery! Brewery # 2168. USA # 1762. Michigan # 74. Hazy pink, thin head, poor retention. Aroma of strawberry, sweaty sock, funk, pale malt. Taste is strawberry, pepper, earth, lemon, funk. Lingering sour. Comes across as more of a sour than a berliner weisse. And in inspecting the can, no mention of Berliner. I'm changing the style to be more accurate. Pretty nice beer. Good intro to a new brewery.

Draft at the brewpub. Filthy cloudy brown swampwater body, thin cream head. Soft, sweet, and rather delicate nose and body, the most distinctive aspect of which was a sharp, tart lime bite fading to muddled tropical fruit sugars. Drinkable, and borderline enjoyable, but kinda meh, too.

Draft. Deep brown body. Frothy, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate, vanilla, light tobacco. Lightly to moderately sweet to start with roast and hop bitterness in the finish. Medium body, watery texture, moderate to lively carbonation. Flavors of roasted malts, chocolate, light coffee. Favorite of the three beers I tried at the brewery.

Draft. Murky golden body. Frothy white head, diminishing. Aroma of pineapple, tropical fruits, toasted grain. On the sweet side with light bitterness in the finish. Medium body, watery/sticky texture, lively carbonation. Flavors of pineapple and citrus. Average in a huge field of New England IPAs.

Draft. Hazy golden body. Short, frothy white head. Light aroma of toasted grain, tropical fruit, melon. Starts sweet, ends lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Fairly clean with flavors of fruit, melon, light grain. Easy drinking.
