On tap at 605 Morningside Drinkery, Auckland. Hazy yellow orange with medium white head. Some citrus, orange, touch of grapefruit, bitterish finish. Medium bodied.

On tap at 605 Morningside Drinkery. Hazy yellow with small white head. Fruity, citrus, tropical notes, some spicy notes in the back, bit salty. Moderate sourness. Bit thin s expected.

On tap at the Beer Spot, Auckland. Clear golden with medium white head. Sweetish, some grassy notes, malty and a bit grainy.

440ml can. Pours a near opaque deep brown with a small & short lived tan head. Aroma is black rice, a hint of hops and some dark roast malt (which must be the barley or rice as there is no malt). Beer is light like a lager which is weird when it looks like a Porter, off dry & with decent depth of flavour.
I like black rice but if you are looking for a bitter, hoppy lager then look elsewhere.
Different & good.
