Description
Between 2011 and 2013, the adventure of the Brasseurs du Grand Paris was written on the 5th floor (no elevator) of a building in Levallois when Fabrice (a Breton who became Levalloisien) and Anthony (an American who became Parisian) met, both passionate about craft beers. Initially the Brasseurs du Grand Paris were nomadic brewers but in September 2016, we left our respective jobs and moved to St Denis to start setting up our brewery there. A 20 HL brewing room, 6 40 HL fermenters, 2 80HL fermenters, and an isobar packaging line to start our Dyonisian adventure. The first beer was brewed in St Denis in February 2017. Thus the Brasseurs du Grand Paris became the Brasserie du Grand Paris.

At a tasting, thanks, small bubbly head, very cloudy to murky brown, foul aroma of stale vanila bean with a hint of barnyard and something medicinal, flavor of stale grains and dusty bitterness, some sourness that is out if place. probably old and not enjoyable.

Bottle sample at a tasting at tomer’s place. Thanks Cris. Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of vanilla, roast, olives and some sour milk. Slightly sourish flavor with vanilla, roast, coffee, a bit of sour milk, and a bitterish finish. Medium-bodied. Infected.

IPA Citra Galactique 6.5% 65 IBUs pours a beautiful copper orange with a thick off-white head. A fantastic nose: pineapple, resin, herbs and maybe some papaya as well. Wow, this is incredibly bitter and very very dry. The first hit is like licking a pine tree, the hops are just assaulting my tastebuds. The sweetness and fruity character of the hops come through in the lingering aftertaste. It grows on me but that first sip was a shock. Brewed at Parisis.
