Description
Between 2011 and 2013, the adventure of the Brasseurs du Grand Paris was written on the 5th floor (no elevator) of a building in Levallois when Fabrice (a Breton who became Levalloisien) and Anthony (an American who became Parisian) met, both passionate about craft beers. Initially the Brasseurs du Grand Paris were nomadic brewers but in September 2016, we left our respective jobs and moved to St Denis to start setting up our brewery there. A 20 HL brewing room, 6 40 HL fermenters, 2 80HL fermenters, and an isobar packaging line to start our Dyonisian adventure. The first beer was brewed in St Denis in February 2017. Thus the Brasseurs du Grand Paris became the Brasserie du Grand Paris.

A golden ipa with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with nice floral hops, citrus pulp, pleasant. In mouth, a smooth sweet fruity caramel malt with light floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice and smooth. On tap at Le Triangle.

A la biere comme a la biere, Paris: Pours copper with a white head. Aroma is mostly citrus. Taste is fruity without that much bitterness. Pretty standard pale ale with a light body.

Golden color with a white head, medium lacing and good lasting. Aroma has notes of citrus, pine and resins. Grapefruit, light tangerine and citrus in the flavor with medium maltiness provide a decent bitterness. Mild bittery in the final with notes fo citrus; fresh mouthfeel.

Bottle. Golden in color with a white head. Lighty smokey aroma and taste with some sweet malt, cereal and wood. Mild and easy to drink.

Bottle 330ml. @ Assentoft tasting by Hansen - Zita. [ As Ligne 3 ].ABV: 5.0%. Clear medium amber orange color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, nutty, light leather - brett. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, nutty, caramel, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141122]

Bottle. Creamy White excellent fully lasting head. Moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Dry and nutty notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle @ Assentoft tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are fruits, flowers, caramel, toasted malt and hops. Nice and easy drinkable.

Re-rate 10/14: Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Hazy golden with a white head. Nice citric hops aroma with a bit of tropical fruits and a grainy hint. Flavor is quite dry with citric hops, a tropical note and a bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Nice. 7/3/7/3/15=3.5

Bottle sample at a tasting at Mastikim. Thanks Dagan. Slightly hazy golden. Hoppy aroma with lots of tropical fruits. Flavor has light yeasty notes, nice fruity hops and a moderate bitterness. Medium-bodied. Very nice and refreshing. 8/3/7/3/15=3.6

On tap at La Fine Mousse, Paris on 28th November 2013. Crystal clear copper with thin decaying off-white ring and film plus scant lacing. Herby aroma with earthy pungency and sweet malts. Berry fruits in-mouth with rich herbs, spices and caramel malts. Caramel malty finish with upper-mouth grassiness. Zingy mouthfeel and medium body. Well crafted.
