Bottle from the source: pours bright red with a quickly dissipating pink head. Aroma is black currant, something resembling liquid smoke, general funkiness. Taste is fruity, juicy, acidic, charcoal or something. Interesting. This is a pretty unique bier.

Draught at the source: pours purple with a pale purple head. Aroma is winey, grapey, woody. Taste is tart, not quite sour. Not very sweet. Light to medium body. Good.

Draught at the source: pours opaque haze with a white head. Very strong tropical fruitiness: mango, pineapple. Taste is sweet, tropical, light bitterness, hint of onion.

Draught at the source: pours black with a beige head. Aroma is loads of fresh coffee. Taste is loads of coffee, not very sweet. Smooth and creamy. Not too much roast. Quite good.
