Description
Conceived as a ‘nomadic’ project, The Beak has spent several years creating unfiltered, seasonally-inspired beer with friends at some the greatest UK breweries, including North Brew Co, Partizan, Beavertown, Burning Sky and Northern Monk. We've now laid roots in our hometown of Lewes in East Sussex, where we've built a 15-BBL neighbourhood brewery and taproom with a mixed-fermentation project and weekend street food canteen. Please come and say hi!

440ml can Sophies Beer Store. Hazed glowing gold appearance, good fluffy white head. Big fruity bouquet on the nose. Taste is super smooth, great stonefruit character, sweet with some tinned fruit syrup, apricot, brioche with subtle pine moments. Great fresh haze overall. Excellent introduction to this brewery.

Can. Turner’s, Sheffield. Clear, very dark, cola brown. Loose bubbles of beige head is messy and sticky. Nose has wood ash. Cocoa powder. Light roast coffee bean. Some pine cone. Taste is pretty full on bitter, with chocolate and coffee truffle sweetness. Medium body. A little drying. Moderate carbonation. Lingering bitterness on the finish comes over very CDA. Tasty gear, for sure.
