12 oz. can. Pours a clear, golden color, with a medium, foamy, white head. The aroma is peach, grapefruit zest, chardonnay, light anise, and chalk. Not quite dry, with a dank bitterness. Medium body, sticky, and astringent. Solid IPA.

500mL bottle, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma brings out lots of woody tequila barrels and medium roast, with none of the adjuncts apparent. Flavour is a lovely tequila bomb, with plenty of woody barrels, medium roast and a hint of cocoa nibs — again, like with the Mezcal version, the rest of the adjuncts aren't really discernible. The tequila is smoother than the Mezcal version, so I think I only slightly prefer this. Very nicely done.

500mL bottle, pours a motor oil black with a small tan head. Nose explodes with intense mezcal upfront, with little notice of the adjuncts -- big, deep roasted body underneath. Flavour has more of the other elements, but is still dominated by deep mezcal barrels, medium roast, subtle cocoa nibs, and honestly not any of the chili, cinnamon or vanilla. But that's not an issue because the barrel character is pretty solid. The palate is a bit sludgy, but otherwise pleasantly viscous and thick. Not too rich or brutal, just nice barrel notes carrying this. Very good.

16oz can from Silver Moon. Clear golden pour, small frothy head. Malty, grainy aroma with notes of tangerine. Taste is light malts and a kind of metallic citrus flavor. Winds down with a dry, chalky fruity presence (Tums come to mind).

16oz can from Tavour. Pretty average IPA, but 100% agree with the naming of this beer

On tap at Silver Moon, pours a hazy dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma reveals a real nice brett character, tart cherries and wood. Flavour is wonderfully complex, with big complex brett notes, tons of tart cherry and wood. Vinous finish, with wood and funk lingering. Complex and well-brewed. Excellent.
