Burgundy waxed bomber from Market of Choice on Belmont in Portland, OR. Pours dark ruddy brown with a foamy beige head. Aroma of boysenberries, wood, and what I take to be rye. Med + body. Flavor is rye whiskey, boysenberries and wood. Oak. Not very astringent. Nice level of whiskey. There’s darkish treacle. Overall this makes me think of chocolate, but I can’t parse that out. Rather smooth. Not very dry, but not all that malty either. Good balance. Rye is very pleasing. Whiskey aspect is a flavor enhancer, not a detriment.

Med + body. Flavor suggests bourbon/chocolate - with boysenberries. Some woody astringency. Very tasty ale. Not very dry, but the whiskey helps with that.

Can from Hops & Bottles. Orange golden pour, small bubbly head. Gose essence in the aroma, yeast, salt, sweet. Cranberries come through in the taste, blending wonderfully with base and salt. Mildly tart, plenty salty

Can....into a glass clear orange amber, a fine ring of wispy white bubbles Nice dry Berliner type aroma notes and a faint but real cranberry flavor that blends well with the moderate tartness. Quite good.

Grunt fill at Albertsons. Medium golden, clear, huge fluffy head. Light aroma, hops and malt detectable. Taste is a bit fuller, but still light, accessible. Noticable hops bite. Dry finish.

Bomber from Uptown. Pours a clear orange hue with a medium white head. A light grainy nose. Citrus, smooth, toast, tangerine, some mild bitterness. Very smooth. Solid.

Looks like a Mexican lager. Light lager grass aroma. Light flavour with interesting notes. This seems like a Mexican lager made with ale yeast. I have give them points for creativity.

12 ounce can. Pours a clear orange hue with a medium white head. A nice soft fruity nose. Toast, smooth flavorful citrus, mild to no bitterness. Very smooth. This is a very good pale ale. Super clean.
