Tap at Worthy, Bend, 23/05/13. Clear golden amber with a thin off white head that clears edgeward leaving a thin film. Nose is hops, light pine, caramel malt, bitter orange. Taste comprises hops, light pine, grapefruit, orange pith, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, hop bitterness in the finale. Decent APA, probably the best beer I rated during my Worthy vist.

Tap at Worthy, Bend, 23/05/13. Very dark mahogony brown with a thin tan head that dissipates to the edge leaving a thin film. Nose is light roast, liqourice, touch of chocolate, on the thin side. Taste comprises roast malt, chocolate, brown sugars, liqourice. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, sweetish in the finish. Little depth or character for 7.7%, drinkable, forgettable. I’ve had so many 4.5% cask stouts that far exceed this relatively big boy in the stout world for flavour! Another average beer on my visit to Worthy - which had been bigged up by my friends who also felt let down.

Draught. Black pour with a beige head. Ringed lacing. Light aroma of roast malt, possibly served too cold. Chocolate flavour, with a lot of roast malt. Coffee-ish (if there is such a word) finish

Tap at Worthy, Bend, 23/05/13. Lightly hazed golden with a thin off white head. Nose is hops, pine, grass, orange pith, bitter grapefruit. Taste comprises light pine, hops, orange pith, grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, hop bitterness in the finish. Ok drinkable stuff but a little subdued and not delivering the big hop kick and pine bite I expect from a DIPA.

Tap at the brewpub, Bend, 23/05/13. Clear pale blonde with a thin white head. Nose is pale malt, grass, light sugar, citrus. Taste comprises much the same with floral notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp finish with light bitterness. Average fayre.

Medium bodied with fine carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. An average bitter, would lend well and no doubt bring out more flavours if it were cask conditioned.

Sample from firkin at the 6th Annual Rogue Firkin Fest at Green Dragon. Pours a murky chestnut color with a medium tan head that dissipates slowly. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted nuts and chocolate. Medium body with flavors of chocolate malt, espresso and mild hops. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. Above average overall.

On tap at Bailey's Taproom, pours a hazy golden orange with a small white head. Aroma of dry piney hops, biscuity malts and quite a grassy hop bite. Flavour is an uber-dry hop bomb, full of dry piney hops, floral hops and crisp biscuity malts. Full of crisp, dry hoppy goodness - super drinkable. A promising young brewery if this is the mark of their quality overall. Decent stuff.

Coppery colour with thick white head. Lasting lacing. Aroma is naartjie with ’n bietjie malt. Hoppy flavour, almost like an IPA but not quite. Hop citrus and floral finish. This is a new beer by a new brewery
