Reddish copper colour, beige foamish bubbly head. Hoppy aroma with some sweetish hints. Flavour is sweet caramellish hops. Strong hoppy hayish finish. Good 3,5%!

Can (BB 01/2006)
Golden color, good creamy white head, lace. Wet cardboard aroma, quite weak. Malty with sticky alcohol. For drunken people to get more drunked. Hints of hops in the aftertaste.

Can (BB 01/2006)
Pale yellow, small white head. Sweet corn and cardboard aroma. Reasonably clean: sweet maltyness and distant hops. Not by any means good, but not totally disaster.

Bottled (BB 01/2006)
Pale golden, small white head. Sweet malty, slightly ashy-grassy aroma. Medium-bodied. Harsh malty. Harsh aftertaste, hints of sugary malts somewhere. Alcoholic, low-quality malt liquer. Totally different beer than Original 5,2.

Bottled (BB 02/2006)
Pale golden yellow, decent white head.At first skunky, sticky urine (and hops) aroma , then sweet corn malts. Medium-bodied. Malty, some hoppy bitter aftertaste. --- Beer merged from original tick of Original Eko 5.2% on 10 Dec 2018 at 13:53 - Score: Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 4 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 4.5. Original review text: Bottled 330ml (Systembolaget)
A bit hazy yellow colour, small white head. Grassy, a bit sweet aroma. Light-bodied. Flavour is also grassy, even a bit veggie hops and sweet malts. Has some industrial vibe.

Bottled (BB 12/2005)
Amber brown, small off-white head. Nutty, woody toffee-hoppy aroma, not very strong. Woody, caramelly hoppy, very English bitter like. Enjoyable 3,5 -beer, a bit watery in the finish, but it’s acceptable.

(Bottle 50 cl) Very pale, almost crystal clear, with a small white head. Sweetish aroma of apples and cinnamon. Flavour is also quite sweet with distinct apple notes and a great spicyness from the cinnamon. This is almost like fluid apple pie. Quite delicious really. 271105

Bottled. Pale golden with a small white head. Very weak on aroma. Malt and some grainy flavor. Bitterness in the finish, along with a small note of banana. Quite fizzy and thin-bodied. Stay away. Rating: 3-2-3-2-7-1.7. 051112

A clear, pale golden beer topped by a small, diminishing white head. A little fruityness and some sweet corn and alcohol in the aroma, Not very bad, just utterly boring, and too sweet. In the mouth it’s almost sticky sweet, with some corn flavor and malty sweetness. A little fruity touch too, but almost no bitterness. Not even in the finish. An extremely boring beer, not tasteful and not easy drinkable or quenching. A waste of ingredients. 100628

A yellow beer with an OK white head. The aroma is primarily malty, while the flavor is very sweet and malty. A very simple brew, and hence boring.

A light yellow beer with a huge white head. The aroma is sour hoppy, and the flavor is sour malty with a bad hop presence and a thin body.
