Description
Stable 12 Brewery had a modest beginning, with three beer-loving high school best friends deciding to adopt a new hobby after college, focusing on something they all love: beer. Quickly outgrowing the kitchen they started in, they commandeered a vacant barn at the family horse farm on which they grew up, and began brewing there. It was from this barn that Stable 12 Brewery was born. Whether growing their own hops, updating their infrastructure, or testing new recipes, there is always something new on the horizon at Stable 12 Brewing Company.

At the source: pours light golden with a white head. Aroma is farmhousey, wheaty, mineralish, and the like. Taste is mineraly and hayish and stuff. Nice and hoppy but still refreshing. Nice.

At the source: pours copper with an off white head. Aroma is piny and caramel with some grapefruit. Taste is moderately bitter. Nice bits of citrus with a sweet malty finish. Good.

At the spirce: pours mahogany with an off white head. Aroma is dark fruit, light roast, caramel. Taste is kind if sweet. Lightly hopped but it be noticable for sure. Nice and easy drinking doppelbock.

Golden with white head, served in a snifter. Aroma taste and finish dominated by grapefruit hops. Ok but not the best this brewer offers for an IPA.

Dark gold with white head, served in a snifter. Light carbonation and faint aroma. Tastes bready and has some funk to it. Mildly bitter finish. Not that interesting a saison.

Light gold served in a snifter at the brewery. Hop aroma and taste with blend of grapefruit and other sweeter citrus. Pleasant long bitter finish.

Jack Daniels Imperial Pumpkin Stout from Stable 12 Brewing Company

Served in snifter at the brewery. Inky dark brown with tan head. Pumpkin spice and bourbon aroma. Alcohol flavor has a harsh edge to it. This tastes less like a pumpkin stout than the standard one they brew., but there still is nutmeg in the taste. Not bad.

Gold and clear, served in a shaker at the brewery. Malty aroma. Malt and light grapefruit hops taste, brief bitter finish. Nice session beer.
