14/3/2019. Cask at the Leicester Beer Festival 2019. Pours dark brown with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of chocolate, roasted malt, smoke, hint of vanilla and light roasted coffee. Moderate sweetness, medium roasted bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Smoke subsided in finish to leave a nice mellow chocolate aftertaste. Quite drinkable.

Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft to flat carbonation. Nice ginger spiced finish. Liked this.
