F: big, tan, good retention. C: dark, brown, hazy, opaque. A: malty, nutty, toffee, caramel, bit fruity, bit chocolate. T: malty, caramel, bit toffee, not on the sweet side, herbal, bit grassy, nutty, bit honey, medium body, medium to low carbonation, good balanced, better than expected, not very close to Trappist beers but good, enjoyed, 0,5l bottle from Kuchnia Polska food shop in Brussels.

Barwa ciemnobursztynowa, niemal klarowne, piana w kolorze złamanej bieli, dość obfita, ale nietrwała. W aromacie karmel, zioła, trawa, może lekki cytrus. W smaku półsłodkie, dużo podbudowy karmelowej, do tego zioła, trawa, lekka ziemistość. Goryczka niska do średniej, mocno garbnikowa, ściągjąca, wysycenie nieco za wysokie, ciało w normie, jak dla pierwszych American IPA - Atak Chmielu, te klimaty. Wadliwe, ale w sumie daje radę.

Barwa złota, klarowne, piana biała, niska, niezbyt trwała. W aromacie diacetyl dominuje. W smaku znowu diacetyl, jakaś tam słodowość. Goryczka niska, wysycenia też nieco brakuje. Cienko.

Butelka.Czarne, nieprzejrzyste. Piana ciemnobrązowa, drobnopęcherzykowa, szybko redukuje się do obwódki. W aromacie wędzona śliwka przykrywa wszystko - właściwie nie czuć nic oprócz niej, jest tak intensywna. W smaku jest słodko, ale nie wylepiająco. Na pierwszym, drugim i trzecim planie wędzona śliwka, daleko pod nią karmel, przypieczona skórka chleba i trochę czekolady. Goryczka niska, ale śliwka daje przyjemny lekko kwaśnawy posmak. Wysycenie niezbyt wysokie, ale przydało by się jeszcze je obniżyć. Ciało nieprzesadzone, mogło by być więcej. Alkohol niewyczuwalny. Ciekawe, żeby spróbować, ale za słodkie, żeby powtórzyć.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Pitch black, espresso head. Rich dark malts, dark prunes, a little smoky. The taste is not that sticky - balanced malty and vinous taste, dark malt acidity, some smoked prunes, a hint of cheesy hops. Rich yet easy drinking body. Very good.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Clear dark mahogany, creamy beige head. The nose feels a little flawed, but still decent overall - caramel, dark crystal malts and notes of cooked vegetables, hints of spicy bread and spicy hops. Tastes like simple brown sugar, though not overly sweet, notes of cereals, pretty strong spicy bitterness. The mouthfeel is pretty thick for the abv, close to being cloying. Feels like a crafty, a drinkable one.

Bottle at C&R Pre-GBBF Tasting 2017. It pours deep red - mahogany brown with a small beige head. The aroma is soft, sweet, oily, honey, stickiness, quite slick, juicy notes and caramel. The taste is slick, oily, sweet, big honey character upfront and throughout, honey cake, white sugar, white bread and toasty grain. Medium body and fine carbonation. Too sweet for me personally, but has some nice aspects to it.
