Very good dense yellow to cream head over faintly hazed, well-carbonated amber-brown beer. Sweet caramel, dark green leaves, roast/caramelmalts, honey. More of the same in the taste, if with a little extra bitterness, mainly roasted, faintly hoppy. Caramel remains the main factor. Warming up, milkchocolate. Medium bodied at best, if quite slick. Medium to well-carbonated feel. Run-of-the-mill sweet ale. Not very trappistine, I fear. Many thanks to Aga!

Bottle shared by Miro at Behind The Hills 2014 Autumn Edition. Very dark chestnut brown color with thick light beige head. Roasted amlt, coffee in aroma. Dark malt, coffee, prunes, licorice in taste.

White head. Litlle bit of lacing. Cloudy with dark copper liquid color. A lot of alcohol in aroma. Then comes some roastiness, honey and problably wet cardboard. Sweet in taste with light bitterness. Too much carbonation in my opinion. Light body and texture. It’s very drinkable. I drank it very fast. I would like more of buckwheat in aroma since the label says it’s a buckwheat beer.

Aroma: roasty, sweet, cereal and unfortunately something like solvent or butapren glue. I burped with this... Appearance: dark amber, very cloudy, creamy head but not rich. Taste: equally sweet and bitter. Slightly watery. Palate: average carbonation and body. Average.

Ein wunderbar volmundigs Bier mit einem süßen Charakter. Der Honig ist sehr dominat, aber gut in die anderen Aromen eingeflochten, sodass ein angenehmer Gesamteindruck entsteht. Der Hopfen hält sich zurück, bleibt aber vorhanden. Ein fein komponiertes Aromenspiel rundet hinten nach den Eindruck positiv ab.

Dark blond beer slightly dense, with a full with head. Bottled 500ml. -from Carrefour Oswiecim. Deep dark brown coloured, medium sized beige head, mild chocolate in the nose. Slight roasted malt, chocolate and mild alcohol with dry bitterish fruity finish. Overall pretty light brew.

Bottle. Dark brown colour, medium size head with fair lacing. Aroma is roasty, with something like bacon (?), groats plus old socks odour. Light bitterness. Lively carbonation. Poor.
