About
Crux is a crossroads, an intersection, the heart of something. In brewing it's that pivotal point where fermentation happens and anticipation mounts.

We’re Crux Fermentation Project— housed in a former AAMCO Transmission Plant and inspired by our location right in the heart of Bend, Oregon. Our brewery is a one-of-a-kind, built for non-traditional brewing methods like decoction mashing, open fermentation and barrel aging, and for leveraging the limitless possibilities that wild yeast strains and experimental hops present.

Another very light clear golden beer. Thin web-like head and lacing. Light pale malts, easy on teh classic farmhouse yeast character. A lingering slick body/feel. Nice light grainy body.

On Tap at the Bend BP very light pale yellow/straw color and clear. Just a hint of a wispy white fine head. Pale light cereal malt body, and a light grassy tartness with a touch of bubblegum. Odd

On Tap at the Bend BP Another clear pale golden orange pour. Classic light bready cerealish malts and a touch of honey sweetness. Quite mild on the bitering noble hopness. Clean, though uninspiring

On Tap at the Bend BP Clear very light golden/orange thin wispy white head. Very light bodied, woody piney/catty hop flavors and bite. Big and a bit dank for such a light beer.

Clear body with white head. Light grapefruit and orange aroma. Flavour seemed quarrelsome with the malt wanting to prevail. Citrus finish.

12 oz can from the Boise Co-op. Very pale golden, light fizzy head, lively carbonation. This is a clasdic summer beer, so tasty and so crushable. Grainy, bready aroma with light tones of citrus and melon. Taste is more grainy goddness, mild sweetness, touch of hops. Velvety, creamy body. This is excellent.

Taster ar Growler Guys. Almost clear, pale golden, patchy head. Musty aroma, cheese . A nice hit of hops at first taste, and some more of the cheese notes. Bitterness lingers.
