Bottle from Tescos. Black pour with a tan head. Coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice, brown sugar aromas. Taste is dark berries, chocolate raisin, coffee, more liquorice. Robust, tasty brew.

Thanks to Dantomlinson for the share. Deep rocky tan head left a froth on a near black still body. Ribena aroma? Medium bodied, well carbonated with a cloying finish. Burnt, cigarette, smoky, bitter, pith & soapy tastes. Glad I don't live in Nigeria!

Thanks YantarCoast for this one. Almost black, decent ivory-coloured head. Nose: roasted malts, toast, esters, chocolate. Medium minus body. Taste: quite dry, fairly roasted, coffee and chocolate, light roasted and estery sourness. Light to medium bitterness. Not bad overall

Black beer, thick head. Rich malty smell. Taste is malty too, with some dark chocolate and a little liquorice. A touch of fruit too. Really nice.

Bottle found in Wageningen. Roasted malt and grape juice in the aroma. Roasted malt, rye, raisin and coffee in the bitter, but also tart flavor. Citrus, blackcurrant and tobacco. Quite a complex beer, and surprisingly refreshing.
