Description

Clear metallic amber beer, finely carbonated under a good, slightly off-white head. Bit herb, quite spicy nose, malty and a tad dusty. Almonds, again rather spicy; dried, dusty herbs. Way too sweet for a Belgian tripel. And neither enough attenuation. Good carbonation; faint alcohol (+sweetness). Ho-hum "tripel" - or Triple as the mentioning on top of the label. Well, the Dutch just love to use French within Belgian context, even when they know sh**. Txs to Stef!

--- Beer merged from original tick of Blond on 02 Apr 2017 at 08:46 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.
