Sample (thanks omhper!). Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is caramel malts, some toffee and a bit grassy and wooden tones. Flavour is caramel, some wood, mild toffee and some slight herbal tones. A bit too sweet for my taste of a Märzen, but still rather nice and good drinkability, though carbonation is a bit on the biting side.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Pale yellow colour, small white foamy head. Aroma is floral, grassy, some fruity and mild herbal tones with some interesting elements (sea weed?). Flavour is herbal, grassy, some mild dough and a bit funny funky tones to it. Not bad, and actually quite interesting flavour.

330ml can. Jet black colour with average to huge, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, dark beige head. Roasty, dark malty and mineral-spicy aroma, notes of coffee, hints of cocoa, salt, a touch of seaweed, whiffs of liquorice. Taste is roasty, slightly chocolately, dark malty, subtle caramel mlaty sweetnees, hints of cocoa and coffee, some roasty bitterness, some hoppy bitterness, mineral, spicy overtones. Creamy texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, fine, soft, creamy carbonation. Harmonious, relatively complex composition, fluffy, sweeping body, nice creaminess - enjoyable.
