Bottle. A clear, dark amber colored beer with a small, dense, light beige head. The aroma has lots of coffee, some chili like notes and a generic fruityness. Caramel hints. There’s lots of coffee in the flavor too, in a quite nice way, although way too much. Some vegetal hints, some caramel and a decent hoppy bitterness with some pine cones. Full body and a pleasant carbonation level. Lasting finish. Way too much coffee in this one, still, in a way, it’s very nice, even for a guy who don’t drink coffee. 141024

Hoezo Retired ? alc 7.5%, 2014, Je hebt van tevoren wel eens van die bieren waarvan je verwacht dat het helemaal niets gaat worden maar die je achteraf toch mee zijn gevallen. Dat is dan ook de Kasparus Bokkus. schenkt mooi donker tot zwart in met schuimige bruine kraag. Verbazingwekkend goed aroma van rozijn, mout, zoetigheid en chocolade. smaken zijn volle donkere fruitigheid, oa rozijn en vijg, kardemon, nootmuskaat, zoethout, caramel en iets hout, matig zoet, licht bitter. romig in de mond, medium body, en wat notigheid in de afdronk.

Bottle @ joes. Black colour with a small beige head. Smells nutmeg, cinnamon, sweet, herbs. Tastes sweet, raisins, slightly chocolate, some herbs but nothing crazy. Medium body, soft carbo.
