Tap @ Burg Bierfestival, small sample. Dark brown color, medium frothy head. Aroma of some roast, slight chocolate, spicy yeast. Bit sweet, bit malty bitterness. Almost a belgian dubbel. Not bad, but just a bit boring.

Bottle @ Tulip Inn, Bodegraven. Heavy gusher that pours hazy golden with a creamy white head. Aroma of malt, loads of yeast, light sourness, ripe fruit. Flavor is malty, yeast, light sour, sweet ripe fruit, pineapple, light citrus. Thin to medium body, lively carbonation. 260714

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are.... I’m sorry but this is true, vomit, puke and sick! Taste is not so bad, but it took a lot of courage to sip it with that horrible nose!

Bottle 300ml.Clear dark red brown colour with a small to average, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, fruity - beet, wood, dark malt, roasted. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, sweet malt. Bottle. Pours a hazy dark brown with a tiny beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, dark chocolate, caramel toffee and bread. Nice full taste, but had this be a little more ’robust’, it would have been a great brew.

Bottle 300ml.Clear medium amber orange colour with a small, fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, caramel, apples, oxidide notes. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with a average duration, malty, sweet malt, yeasty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watey, carbonation is soft. [20131011]
