Keg at the brewery, 1/7/24. Hazy amber, medium white head, average retention. Aroma of grapefruit, mango, pale malt, canned tropical fruit. Taste is canned fruit, grapefruit, melon, pine. Moderate bitterness. Needs some work (spoiler: they fixed it under a different beer name and recipe).

Keg at the brewery, 12/21/23. Dark ruby, thin off-white head, average retention. Aroma of pine, juniper, toast, dark cherry. Taste is toast, molasses, pine, juniper, raisin. Mild bitterness, well balanced.

Cask at the brewery. 11/20/23. Gold, slight haze. Aroma of earth, peppers, soap. Taste is green pepper, lime, soap. Lingering heat. Not a fan of this one.

Firkin at the brewery, 11/9/23. Dark red, medium white head, average retention. Aroma of caramel, toasted malt, smoke. Taste is smoke, cherry, toasted malt, chocolate, raisin. Well balanced. Nice.

12oz can. Sort of unappetizing buttery caramel aroma and taste. I really find most McFleshmans beer to be quite amateur, and this is another subpar one. Has a sugary, extract feel, or perhaps just poorly attenuated. Not really good on any level.
