I had it in both bottles and in cans, and I have to say that the bottled in a whole lot better. Clear gold/yellow, and a small white head. Aroma is similar to the skunky Heineken aroma. Taste has some of the vegetal thing all up in it, along with a bit of bitters thrown in. Hop notes are present, but subdued. Rather refreshing beer. So long as it is out of the bottle, this is in my opinion far and by the best beer I sampled in Egpyt.

Golden colour and a white head. Thin aroma of hops and some grain. Rather light taste, a few citrusy notes, and a modicum of hops. I personally think that Stella is the better beer. A little bit of bitterness as well. Not really interesting, but interesting to try another countryโs pale lager.

This one was a pleasant surprise. So after trying my first Stella in Egypt I decided to see what else Egypt had to offer. I decided to go for Meister Max. It poured an orange color with a white head. Aroma not entirely horrible. But importantly, it tasted a whole lot better than most American high gravity malt liquors. It actually had some positive beer flavor and the sweetness and alcohol burn were not really noticeable. I wouldnโt mind drinking a few of these in a row, which is more than I can say for most American high gravity products.

I was so pleased to find out that other nations aside from the US (and a few European countries) enjoyed making horrid super-high alcohol malt liquors. While the taste of this beer is obviously quite bad. Tasting far too sweet and boozy and a little bit like airplane fuel, the very fact that Eqyptian drunks have this as an option makes me happy. Tastes probably about as bad as 211. Would suggest it to be tried, but not to be repeated.

50cl can, thanks RasmusB for bringing it home to me from Egypt very faint aroma, flavor is faint citrussy, faint sweet, faint malty, balanced by faint hops.a mild, ordinary pale pale pale lager, but probably great in the sun. the hops might come off as a bit metallic.
