Taster at Loyal Legion. A dreaded sunny day, So I meet you at the cemetery gates. Apropos, as it was a sunny day in Portland today.. Well crafted IPA, nice use of the Amarillo hops. Striaghtforward and simple.

On tap at Grains of Wrath, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out light coffee, with a touch of fruit cake and light cocoa. Flavour is along the same lines, with red fruit cake, coffee and light cocoa. Lots of coffee fruit cake on the finish. Very enjoyable.

On tap at Grains of Wrath, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out dark fruits, cocoa and lactose upfront. Flavour is rich, with lots of cocoa, dark fruity cake, and lactose. Well-rounded and robust. Excellent.

On tap at Grains of Wrath, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out oily resinous hops and sweet cereal malts. Flavour is sweet and oily, with lots of resinous hops, oily notes, and biscuity malt. Oily palate, with plenty of residual sweetness from the hops. Lightly dank finish. Really good.

On tap at Grains of Wrath, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops, light resins, and biscuity malt. Flavour is crisp and piney, with lots of piney hops upfront, some bitter citrus, and toasted biscuity malt. Crisp, piney and biting. Very good house IPA.

16 ounce can. Pours a cloudy orange hue with a small white head. A light citrus nose. Big pulp flavors, pineapples, mango, low to medium bitterness, smooth and flavorful. Some sweet pears. Solid.

Well, this is a nice tribute to the Marines. We love beer, that is for sure. Pours a clear orange hue with a medium white head. A big tropical nose. Light resin, sweet throughout, some sticky elements. Lovely. Good.
