Clear amber beer, off white head. Fruity rye aroma. Flavour is bitter rye, some grassy hop, could maybe do with a bit of a sweeter kick in there somewhere to balance it out.

Keg at the Cock Tavern - Hackney. Pours unclear yellow-gold with a foamy, white head. Low sweetness, dry and a bit chalky, some pale grains, smokey off notes, hay, wheat flakes. Light bodied with active carbonation. Dry finish, minerally, a little phenolic, more wheat flakes, vague lemon peel. Not good.

Keg at the Cock Tavern - Hackney. Pours clear gold, effervescent, with a super tight, creamy white topping. Lightly sweet with assertive earthy bitterness, some pine, dirty leaves, perfume, flowers, orange peel. Light bodied with active carbonation. Bitter finish, some sun-kissed grains, more dirty pine. So so.

Tap@London Beer Lab, Brixton, London (06/08/2022) - New brewery ✅ hazy orange pour with a off white head. Toasted and sweet malty, marmalade shred, sweet caramel and toffee action, piney herbal hoppy undertones, medium bodied, sweet malty and hoppy bitter finish. First Rye IPA for some time, good stuff.

Siste kveld i London for denne gangen, og vi har tatt turen til London Beer Lab i Brixton. Fra fat: uklar kobberfarget med eksemplarisk skum. Citrus, rugbrød, furunål og engelsk appelsinmarmelade. Saftig og meget tilfredsstillende.
