It’s a bit skunky which for me rates it better than a lot of pale lagers. You can at least taste the hops with first a touch of sweetness then a light sour aftertaste. 330 Bottle from the liquor store in Canrmore

Bottle. Pours golden amber with a white head. Aroma is heavy on banana, with pilsner malt and just a light hint of skunk lost somewhere in the banana. Flavor starts out with the usual pilsner malts, apple, but as it warms I get this nice sugary white wine influence. I wasn’t really expecting it, but this turned out to be a rather nice beer.

Bottle at a Lebanese Restaurant. Pale yellow with almost no head. Faint aroma of wet hay. Almost no flavour, just a vague bitterness. Don’t know what I’d call this, but it’s not a pilsener.

2/10 0.33 l bottle courtesy of Marko, thanks! It poured clear golden body with medium sized head. Stinky eggs, socks and otherwise stale aroma. Sourish, some corn and metal in flavor, grainy, boring, but less offensive than aroma. Luckily it had thin body with short but harsh bitter finish. Couldn’t expect any more...or less.
