Description
Since we started in 2015, we wanted to build an independent, modern brewery in our beloved city of Berlin. But building a buisness is difficult, so we started as contract brewers and brew our core assortment in the Hohenthanner Schlossbrauerei. Now, we count the days till we can brew all of our beers in our own production brewery close to the Berlin S-bahn in Neukölln. Follow us on Instagram and Facebook for regular updates!

The version I tried was in a giant ceramic flip-top bottle shaped like a soccer ball and from 2006. Labelled Bier Meister cup 2006 2L 5%. It sat on a shelf at Qbrick since then and when opened was completely flat but had a rich malty aroma reminiscent of a barleywine. Everyone thought I was nuts for trying it but hell, I like to live dangerously. From my notes:

"A barleywine malt forward sweet beer with zero carbonation but an ultra full body. Full nutty honey malt body. Super smooth."

33cl bottle from some corner shop in Berlin. Hazy yellow with a small, white head. Mild fruity aroma with tropical fruits, hints of citrus and pale malt. Mild flavours, moderate sweet and lightly bitter. Surprisingly easy to drink and rather tasty. Somehow very smooth and nice!

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Vova. Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of grainy malt, a bit of hay, some grassy hops. Rather dry flavor with grainy malt, mildly sweetish, and bitterish grassy and citric hops. Rather light-bodied. Quite refreshing.
